These performances are the "ACOUSTIC" shows at Town Green in Maple Grove. These performances will feature student solos, duets, and small groups, as well as our jazz band!
There are two versions of the "Acoustic" show:
Our SENIOR cast will perform on 5/14 at 5pm and on 5/15 at 7:30pm
Our SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR cast will perform on 5/14 at 7:30pm and on 5/15 at 5pm (tickets available through the "Sophomore/Junior Cast" event link)
VENUE/LOCATION: These performances will take place at the Town Green Bandshell - 7991 Main Street, Maple Grove, MN 55369. This is next to the Maple Grove Library.
PARKING: There is free parking available on Main Street, in the upper level of the Library ramp, at the Community Center lots and most evenings at the Government Center.
ENTRANCE & TICKETING: We will be directing you to enter from the Government Center side of the amphitheater (not the library side). All entrances & exits will be marked with big signs! Follow the signs toward the entrance and be ready to show your ticket on your phone (no need to print it).
SEATING: The amphitheater has built-in seating (grass/cement), but you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs and/or blankets. Our ushers will direct you to an area based on whether or not you plan to sit in chairs. As you choose your seat, take note of the location of our very powerful speaker system. If you have sensitive hearing, you might not want to sit right next to those!
BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY: Due to fewer capacity restrictions, we now have some extra space and want to encourage you to bring your little ones to this family-friendly show. If you hesitated about bringing them due to the ticket cost, please know that you don’t need to buy tickets for the kiddos. Just show up with tickets for older kids, teens, & adults. The littlest family members can enter for free!
SHOW LENGTH, CONCESSIONS, ETC: The show will be about 60-75 minutes long. We are not going to have a formal intermission, but you are welcome to get up and walk around, buy concessions, visit our merchandise table, and participate in our community art project at any point during the show. We also want you to sing & dance along!
